We’ve achieved a lot in a short space of time: received our license from the Financial Conduct Authority, became a Principal Member of Mastercard, partnered with all the leading UK banks, and built and launched a unique consumer product. The future looks very exciting and it’s a great time to join the team as we have recently launched our small business product.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented digital designer to join us and work on marketing projects across our website and multi channel communications. A digital designer at Currensea should be a versatile professional, capable of managing their own work flow and communication with stakeholders. This person should have delightful creative ideas, amazing design skills, a fastidious attention to detail and smart strategic thinking.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver creative visual assets that bring our brand to life
  • Create and develop content for social campaigns
  • Work with our product, marketing, and internal teams to deliver the best solutions for our projects
  • Gather design references, create moodboards and storyboards to communicate ideas to stakeholders
  • Create video content for social media and online channels
  • Work across multiple project deadlines
  • Think creatively and originally to produce new ideas and fresh concepts

Candidate requirements


  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Sketch and prototyping tools such as Marvel or Invision
  • An interest in human centered design, digital, technology, innovation, and startups
  • Good knowledge of mobile-first design, experience in native mobile apps would be a plus
  • A portfolio full of detailed examples of digital design projects
  • Familiarity with animation and motion design (After Effects)


  • HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Experience in startup/or digital/UX agency is welcomed
  • Print knowledge would be appreciated

Job Details

Salary: £20,000 to £23,000 per year

Location: Hammersmith, London (Temporarily remote)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm

Contract: Permanent

Role: Assistant
