Use Xero accounting software to run daily finance tasks and processes.
You will be joining a small, friendly team who work with the NHS to reduce waiting times by providing clinical teams and back office staff. As the Finance Officer it will be your job to operate an efficient finance system using Xero accounting software. The ideal applicant will have 18 months of relevant finance experience in either accounts, credit control, purchase ledger or general finance.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for the timely issuing of invoices, payments and receipts, bank reconciliation, some credit control, paying suppliers via BACs and other finance related admin. Being proactive is vital as you will need to chase payments by telephone to get them paid on time.
You will report to the Business Operations Manager, who will always be on hand for support.
