Digital Marketing & Community Relations

Queenside Games

About the Role

This is a brand new role at a leading game app publisher.

The candidate reports to the CEO and is part of a small 2 person marketing team.

Queenside Games Ltd has created a new game app which merges the brilliance of chess with the cunning of poker to make "Choker". This a 100% free-to-play app which brings a 21st century twist to two of the world’s favourite games.

We are looking for someone to liaise and communicate with our growing customer base across a range of platforms including: posting on player forums and social media platforms, sending emails, handling inbound customer enquiries, handling player reviews and communicating with players through the app. They will have the opportunity to contribute to content creation and marketing strategy. We would want the individual to develop and run on-line initiatives to attract players to the game. We welcome the candidates own ideas.

Ideally, the candidate can play and has a genuine interest in chess.

Whilst the candidate will be working alongside and reporting directly to the CEO, this role comes with significant autonomy and responsibility. It also offers the opportunity to learn a wide range of business skills whilst gaining experience in an exciting growth sector.

The post would suit someone who is organised, has excellent communication skills, marketing skills and digital skills. The individual needs to be self-motivated and driven to succeed. They will work remotely most of the time and will be in daily contact with the CEO and marketing agencies supporting the game. Queenside Games prides itself on being a friendly place to work, with zero office politics and seeks a candidate who will thrive in this environment.
