Customer Support Specialist (Entry-Level)

Are you based in or near Bath and looking to kick-start your career in the tech industry?

We're looking for a people person with strong customer service skills to join this fast-growth SaaS business. They make it far easier for businesses to manage their people and payroll, and help businesses to reach their true potential. It's all delivered through clever software and a friendly and knowledgeable support team. As a Customer Support (Software Specialist) you'll play an essential role in helping them realise this vision. You'll be joining a friendly and experienced team of 6 technical support and customer service specialists.

Please note, this role will be office based in a central location in Bath.

Customer Support Role Overview

You will help new customers understand how they can get the most value from their software by dealing with all incoming queries in a timely and professional manner. Queries may come in by email or by phone and you will be responsible for answering all technical queries and software related questions. Additionally you will work with the development team reporting issues and bugs and providing customer feedback to help improve the product.

Customer Support Responsibilities

🤩 Providing "WOW" customer service and technical support to small business customers.

📞 Responding to and resolving customer queries via email and phone.

🚀 Guiding customers through their onboarding journey.

🐛 Identifying the source of software issues raised by customers.

Customer Support Candidate Requirements

  • You are educated to degree level.

  • You will have a natural ability to build rapport over the phone and have an easy manner when talking to customers.

  • You are comfortable working with numbers as to help our customers use our payroll software.

  • You will have good written English and the ability to write email responses in a conversational and friendly way.

  • You are a technically competent person who picks up new software and apps easily.
