Do you have strong project management and IT skills and are looking to make a move into product management?

We're looking for an enthusiastic graduate for this product manager role based at a fast-paced Cornish Internet Provider. Do you love the idea of collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to develop products and help to meet the clients business objectives?

Role overview:

Use your project management skills to help develop new products for their business customers.

You will report into the Chief Commercial Officer and work alongside a team of talented technical specialists and suppliers. You'll use your positive and open approach to the work and be detail-orientated and design-focused with an innovative mindset.

This role is based from the Helston office in Cornwall for 3 days a week and working from home for 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:  

👀 Use market research to establish the wants and needs of the client

🚀 Assist in the development of products from concept to completion ensuring that they meet the needs of the client

📈 Project manage the development of the product and maintain project plans, timelines and report on key milestones

🤝 Communicate and collaborate with colleagues from across the business who have a stake in your product

💵 Take part in costing exercises including negotiations and cost improvement opportunities

Candidate must-haves:

  • A degree or qualification in project management, engineering, product design, marketing or other relevant field

  • Evidence of project management either as a qualification, or in your career or through your education

  • Evidence of research at a professional level - perhaps you’ve undertaken research projects in your career, or written a research paper for university

  • Highly IT literate

  • Ability to commute to and work from the head office in Cornwall 3-days per week
