Do you have a computer related degree? Or solid software development experience?

  • Opportunity for quick progression; get one-on-one training with the CEO/Founder and senior developer

  • Newly created role with a starting salary of £24,000 - £28,000

  • Use your PHP knowledge for both back-end development and platform development

This is a brand new role as part of the in-house development team, so no need to worry about getting stuck with legacy processes here. You will be working for a payment platform provider which is looking to expand after the success of working with major train operators during COVID. The team is currently made up of 2 full-time staff, giving you the opportunity to work directly with the CEO/Founder and the Senior Software Developer who will both be providing you with 1:1 training. Being part of such a small team is great if you are a self-starter and prefer autonomy. Initially, you will be working remotely with 1-2 days a month in the Central London office at beautiful Somerset House. A laptop, second screen and peripherals will be provided for you to work from home. As the business and team grow they will look at increasing the number of days in the office.

Your knowledge of relational databases and PHP will put you in good stead for this position. On a day to day basis, you will play an essential role of supporting the Senior Software Developer with maintenance. You will also have the opportunity to work on the re-platforming of a major client’s interface from Zend to Laravel, plus ongoing future product development. This role would be perfect for someone who is looking to grow and learn alongside this innovative start-up and put their computer related degree or relevant experience to the test.

Our easy to use platform is set up so that every candidate will get a response and we never ask for a CV. So what are you waiting for? Apply today!
