Developer/Product Lead role at a growing food tech company with monthly travel to Poland
App Developer experience required to lead all technical aspects of the company app

We’re looking for an app expert for a new App Developer/Product Lead role with an exciting food tech company. This company’s next chapter is to focus on product development on both the app and website, but they need YOU to take ownership of the app as a product and provide the opportunity to lead all technical aspects of a unique, impactful sustainable food tech business.

Python Developer / Product Lead role overview:
You’ll help to build and develop new features in React/React Native. You'll introduce new technologies that can transform the end-user experience, product performance and developer efficiencies. You’ll use your excellent communication skills to be a spokesperson for the company alongside the Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer and Head of Partnerships. You'll travel to Poland once a month to build a strong relationship with our Development Agency and website developer.
You’ll report to the Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer, being the first in-house technical employee of the company.
This is a fully remote role with excellent and rapid progression opportunities. Sound good?
Python Developer / Product Lead responsibilities:
🛠️ Building out all of our new features in Python and React Native, whilst developing and maintaining our existing codebase
🧠 Continuously thinking about how to improve the user experience across our products and taking ownership of the features you develop and deliver to our users
📲 Moving us towards continuous release processes, and improving our testing capabilities across Android and iOS platforms
🇵🇱 Building strong relationships with the rest of the team. Once a month visit to development team based in Poland.
Python Developer / Product Lead must-haves:
Some experience with Python development
Experience scaling to multiple squads & managing the organisation structure & process changes required to make this happen quickly & effectively
Excellent technical credibility, and an ability to ensure proposed technical & architectural solutions are stage appropriate yet scalable
An entrepreneurial mind-set, with a strong bias towards action
Nice-to-haves
You may also have the following experience which is highly desirable, but not mandatory:
React Native / React experience
Experience working in a B2B SaaS scale up
