We’re looking for a creative coding expert for a new junior developer job with a leading eCommerce growth agency. This company works in the space where creativity meets digital – building effective eCommerce experiences for ambitious brands but they need YOU to join the team to play a pivotal role in growing part of the agency and servicing some equally ambitious and inspiring Brand Partners.

Junior Front-End Developer overview:

You’ll help with front-end development and in-browser design across key platforms; Shopify, WordPress and Klaviyo. You’ll use your HTML, CSS and Javascript skills to create style guides and pattern libraries directly onto CMS templates.

You’ll work alongside Project Managers and Senior Developers ensuring they are up-to-date with project progress, technical endeavours and expected running times.

This is a Bristol-based role within a nurturing work environment and progressive culture. Sound good?

Junior Front-End Developer responsibilities:  

🛠️ Support and maintain front and back-end codebases where possible

🎨 Liaise and collaborate with the design department when delivering web/digital projects

🚀 Support SMT with job assignments and manage the smooth process of projects through to completion

🤝 Meet with Brand Partners (where necessary) and keep them up to date with project progress, take briefs and manage expectations

Junior Front-End Developer must-haves:

  • Frontend development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Junior Front-End Developer nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of SCSS/Sass

  • Experience with extending and customising WordPress and Shopify

  • Experience with marketing automation with Klaviyo
