We’re looking for someone with excellent typing skills for a new Transcription / Editor job with an innovative EdTech business. This company’s note taking team helps to remove the barriers to learning, but they need YOU to assist them with ensuring the quality of their services.

Transcription / Editing Executive overview:
Successful candidates will need to be trained as remote note takers and will use this experience to work with the administration and technology teams to devise suitable Quality Assurance processes. The ultimate role will be to assess, identify and make recommendations for improvements to quality control and quality control procedures for the note taking teams based in Canada and Philippines. You will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with students and the note taking teams.
You'll report to the CEO.
This is a hybrid role, with 2 days a month in the Woking office for meetings and training. Sound good?
Transcription / Editing Executive responsibilities:
🤫 Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students and all assignment related information
🗣️ Communicate with students as to their preferred style of study notes
📝 Using note taking skills to help us improve the QA process
👀 Reviewing individual notes and transcripts to assess and monitor quality
Transcription / Editing Executive must-haves:
Strong written English skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail with good organisational skills
Good typing speed - approx 70wpm
Good understanding of Microsoft Word/Mac Pages and Excel/Numbers
