Digital Trainer (Part-Time Internship)

Do you have great teaching and communication skills? Are you interested in a career in digital training?

We’re looking for a coding enthusiast to train digital learners at all levels. This company trains 16-24-year-olds to learn code through education programmes, hackathons, coding workshops, project workshops and careers events but they need YOU to assist with increasing the number of UK educated, skilled, young developers!

If you have a patient manner, like to teach and have a passion to kick-start a coding career in digital training, this is your chance!

Digital Trainer overview:

You'll deliver practical learning sessions at levels from school leaver to ready to start a career. You’ll use your teaching skills to deliver an exciting variety of learning programmes including programming with Python for Data Analysis, Web development with HTML/CSS/Javascript/React, and also for app development. You'll mentor learners in both a learning and software development environment, whilst following a hackathon-style delivery methodology.

You’ll work alongside the Director of Development and Education, ensuring that all learning is of high quality, and meets its purpose.

This is a fully remote role with the opportunity to move to a permanent position post internship. Sound good?

Digital Trainer responsibilities: 

🧑‍🏫 Plan and deliver learning sessions for all abilities

✍️ Follow good practice, including facilitating peer learning and discovery learning

🧠 Ensure that all learning is of high quality, and meets its purpose

💻 Follow current working practices and methodologies for classroom/online delivery of in-person teaching

Digital Trainer must-haves:

  • A good communicator

  • Strong skills in one (or more) of the following: Python, HTML/CSS/Javascript/React

  • An naturally excellent teacher with working knowledge of relevant frameworks and languages

  • A creative thinker and problem solver
