We are here to help you find the most talented and skilled Graduates without having to spend hours sifting through irrelevant CVs, or place job ads only to have inexperienced and unskilled people applying.

We ensure that all our Graduates have digital marketing skills, and we are providing a way for both businesses and graduates to road test employment with very little risk in a supportive way.

What is the Hiring Hub?

We like to think of the Hiring Hub like a LinkedIn for Graduates with digital marketing skills. All of our Graduates who make it into the Hiring Hub have undergone an application process in which we establish their eligibility for our programme and they have also successfully completed at least one online training subject (for example social media marketing).

What standard are the Graduates?

All of our Graduates complete our training with minimum pass mark of 70%, so have an understanding of practical digital marketing techniques. We also work with our Graduates to help them build up a portfolio of work to show you, such as writing blog posts, creating a case study, writing social media posts or optimising copy on a web page. Some of our graduates have previously completed internships during their studies, and some have not.

What is the Internship programme?

Graduates are placed into your business for a fixed number of months. We suggest a minimum of 3 months, but you may decide to take a Graduate for one or two months initially. The Graduates are employed by DigitalGrads so there is no hassle or employment responsibility for you. We also provide each Graduate with a Mentor who is a senior digital marketing professional who is on-hand to answer any questions the graduate may have and who monitors their progress alongside your business.

Can I hire the Graduate after the Internship?

Yes, it’s our aim that the Graduate has impressed and gained ample experience whilst working for your business, that you would like to take them on in a permanent capacity. However, there is no obligation on your part to do so. If you have a fixed-term project that a Graduate would be ideal for, but don’t have a permanent position available we would still love to work with you as it’s really important to give our Graduates as much experience as possible.

Who is ultimately responsible for the Graduate?

During the internship, we are. Every Graduate is assigned a Mentor who is an experienced digital marketing professional. The mentors are on hand to answer questions but also to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. We encourage you to view this experience as a process that gives you the experience of observing the Graduate and fulfilling an untapped marketing opportunity without the ultimate responsibility of employing them. The Graduate is not an employee of yours, and is taking part in the programme to gain much needed work experience in the real world.

Can I hire a graduate directly without first taking an Intern?

Yes, we run a direct recruitment programme as well. You are free to interview and offer permanent positions to our graduates. Some of them will have already completed internships and will be ready for their first permanent role.

What happens in the event of a mistake during the internship?

Sometimes mistakes happen - we are all human. In our experience they actually happen far less than you would imagine. In the event that the Graduate makes a mistake you should contact us immediately, and we will assess the situation and look to rectify it with you. Please rest assured that we have never had to do this before.

How do I access the Graduate profiles?

It’s really simple. First create your account with us. Then you are free to browse the Graduate profiles. When you wish to contact a Graduate you simply click the Interview now button to unlock their contact details and download their CV. The first time you click to Interview a Graduate we ask you to read and accept our Terms of Service. You will only have to do this once, and you can always access the agreement from inside your account.
