With over 15 years of work experience in various sectors, I have gained ample knowledge and skills which I believe are transferable to the advertised vacancy. My strengths include good written and verbal communication skills, customer service, use of IT, excellent organisational skills, understanding of data protection, understanding of equality and diversity, confidence in collaborating with all levels of staff, and the ability to learn quickly. My current job as a receptionist at Premier Inn Hub, has given me the opportunity to work in a customer-focused environment where the ability to communicate effectively and clearly is critical to delivering customers’ needs. I also communicate with colleagues and guests in a positive and clear manner, leave handover notes on the system for the incoming team at the end of every shift and regularly update guest information on the system to ensure that the right rooms are allocated to them. Working at the hub has also given me the opportunity to work in a large team, build positive relationships, and work effectively and cooperatively while adhering to sensitive equality and diversity issues. My exposure to a wide range of customers with diverse backgrounds and needs has given me a chance to grow in my active listening skills to understand customers' needs and meet them adequately. As a hub team member at Premier Inn, some of my duties include booking and checking in of guest, effective communication with contractors, suppliers, and members of the public making different kinds of enquires, keeping up with financial accounts, accurate record keeping, preparation of team rota and more. I firmly believe that my years of experience and the skills I have gotten from them plus my ability to learn quickly will enable me to meet your expectation if considered.
