I am Rashitha Devarapalli from India, doing my MSc in Management at Brunel University London. Starting a new life in London was a big challenge, but I am happy that I am learning to live my life here amidst all the challenges. My master’s has taught me about the different management roles, which help to provide strategies, financial assistance, and managing the team and the project. Also, working as a Machine Learning Data Associate in the Amazon development centre, my job involved working with artificial intelligence devices like Alexa and learning new skills on how the device works. The position also involved us providing Alexa project support to our clients by delivering results with high throughput and less error driven in quality to improve the efficiency of functioning of the devices. I was then moved to a higher position where I had a part in recruiting people into the new process by conducting interviews and tests with junior-level employees. I also acted as an assistant team leader in conducting meetings, delivering presentations, and handling the team. My prior work experience has shown me the value of professionalism and teamwork and has equipped me with the knowledge and work ethic required for long-term success in the field. I have also got experience with working with different background people as I have worked for US, UK and Canada-based projects. I am very experienced in working with Microsoft outlook, excel, and PowerPoint as we use only these tools to manage our processes in our company. My experience at Amazon has proven my ability to be a quick learner and adaptor when placed in a fast-paced work environment. I was a part of the Amazon Digital Marketing team, thereby assisting in creating digital posters, quizzes, and creative advertisements for Amazon tournaments held quarterly. I was always motivated to lead a team right from my school days, which led me to captain my school and college teams. I also had the privilege of learning many leadership qualities while serving as an organizer and chairman of the National Level Technical Symposium at my college. I have bagged 2nd place in my final year project, and I have been an active member of IDCE (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell). Having a passion for event management, I have been the head coordinator for the national level and state level cultural coordinator for consecutive years during my undergraduate. I have failed at times, but I haven’t stopped learning.
